The recent Colorado Springs fire, named for the Waldo Canyon where it destroyed over 346 homes! Let’s not forget all the acreage that was burnt, nor all the uncounted out-buildings and personal autos lost. Consider that all the personal homes and the internal possessions are gone! The local TV was alive for weeks with neighbors telling their stories and sharing their anguish. Some folks had to stay in local hotels or motels if they could find any vacancies for their whole ordeal, these are unexpected expenses that a well thought out insurance policy could have helped with.
Although we sympathize with all of our neighbors in the surrounding states and their horrible losses and present bleak living circumstances, we’re just as determined to make sure that our Scottsdale neighbors never have to suffer thru similar circumstances.
